Nocturnal Creatures – Website Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Nocturnal Creatures. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, membership applications, event bookings and purchases. By accessing our website or purchasing a ticket or membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Nocturnal Creatures
Nocturnal Creatures hosts educational events, social gatherings, cinema nights, workshops, discussions, retreats and members-only experiences for consenting adults.

Some events are open to the public, while others are available exclusively to approved members.

We reserve the right to modify, postpone or cancel events where reasonably necessary.

2. Eligibility
All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

Certain events, memberships and experiences require a successful vetting process before attendance is permitted.

Providing false or misleading information during the application process may result in refusal or cancellation of membership.

3. Memberships
Membership is a privilege, not a right.

Completion of the membership process does not guarantee approval.

Nocturnal Creatures reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend or revoke any membership at its sole discretion.

Nocturnal Membership

Nocturnal Membership is available on either:
Monthly membership: $29 per month, plus a one-time $99 sign-up fee

Annual membership: $320 per year, with the $99 sign-up fee waived

Membership includes:
Access to the private Members Portal
Access to members-only events (subject to availability)
Access to the Members Group Chat
Complementary tickets to all Meet & Greets
Member pricing on eligible events
Invitations to selected limited capacity member experiences (subject to availability)



Society Membership

Society Membership is available as an annual membership only: $590 per year

Society Membership is designed primarily for interstate and international members.

Society Membership includes:
Access to the private Members Portal
Access to members-only events (subject to availability)
Access to the Members Group Chat
Member pricing on eligible events
Complementary tickets to all Meet & Greets
Invitations to selected member experiences
Second priority access to Nocturnal Member events
A welcome BRUXA gift package aproximent value of $200 aud
Members may also receive invitations to Platinum events and retreats at the discretion of Nocturnal Creatures.

Delivery estimates:
Australia: dispatched within 2 weeks of purchase.
International: dispatched within 3 weeks of purchase.

Applicants must:
Complete the online consultation and
Complete the Society Membership Questionnaire.
Completion of these requirements does not guarantee membership.



Platinum Membership:

Platinum Membership is available on either:
Monthly membership: $119 per month, plus a one-time $99 sign-up fee
Annual membership: $1290 per year, with the $99 sign-up fee waived

Platinum Membership includes:
Access to the private Members Portal
Access to members-only events (subject to availability)
Access to the Members Group Chat
Complementary tickets to all Meet & Greets
Member pricing on all public Nocturnal events & select Nocturnal/Platinum Member events
Access to all events (subject to availability)
Priority booking opportunities
Exclusive Platinum experiences
Quarterly BRUXA product packages with an annual aproximent value of $800 aud
Quarterly BRUXA deliveries are dispatched:
Australia: within 2 weeks
International: within 3 weeks

Additional Platinum Terms:
- Minimum commitment of 3 months
- If cancelled after the minimum period, members will only receive products allocated for the current quarter.
- Platinum Membership numbers are strictly limited.

Once capacity has been reached, applicants may be placed on a waiting list.
Applicants must:
Complete an online vetting consultation and attend an approved open social event,
or
For interstate/international applicants, complete the Society Questionnaire where applicable.
Completion of these steps does not guarantee approval.


Monthly Memberships (where applicable)
Billed automatically every month. Membership may be cancelled at any time (subject to Platinum terms) Cancellation stops future billing only. Your membership benefits remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time. All members may pause their membership for up to 3 months by updating their status within the Members portal before the next billing cycle.


4. Membership Vetting
To be considered for membership, applicants may be required to:

Complete an online consultation;
Attend an approved Nocturnal Creatures social event; and/or
Complete additional questionnaires where requested.
Online consultations may be booked up to 3 months in advance.

Once all required steps have been completed, applicants will be notified of the outcome via email within 1–7 business days.

Nocturnal Creatures reserves the right to close membership applications where capacity has been reached.

5. Membership Capacity
To ensure the quality of the community and reasonable access to events, Nocturnal Creatures may limit the number of active members.

Applications may be paused or closed once membership capacity has been reached.

6. Events
Nocturnal Creatures aims to host a minimum of four (4) events per month.

Event schedules may vary.

During December and January, there may be between one (1) and three (3) events due to seasonal scheduling.

Event availability is subject to venue capacity and demand.

7. Ticket Purchases & Digital Delivery
All event tickets are delivered electronically.

Tickets are generally emailed to the address provided during checkout within one (1) hour of purchase.

If you do not receive your ticket:

Please check your Junk or Spam folder.
If still not received, contact:
invitations@nocturnalcreatures.com.au

It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the email address supplied is correct.

8. Pricing & Currency
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Prices include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated.

Additional fees, taxes or shipping costs (where applicable) will be displayed before checkout.

9. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept approved payment methods displayed during checkout, including supported Visa, Mastercard, American Express, eftpos and other payment methods offered by our payment provider.

Card scheme logos displayed on our checkout page indicate the cards currently accepted.

10. BRUXA Product Deliveries

Where membership includes BRUXA products:

Australia

Dispatched within approximately 2 weeks.
International

Dispatched within approximately 3 weeks.
Delivery times may vary due to customs, courier delays or circumstances outside our control.

11. Refund Policy

Event Tickets
Refund requests must be submitted at least seven (7) days before the event.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.

Refunds generally appear within 2–5 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Refunds are not available for:

Meet & Greet events
Requests made within seven (7) days of the event
Failure to attend an event
Change of mind
Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Ticket Transfers
Ticket transfers require at least 48 hours' notice and are subject to approval.

Transfers may not be available for all event types.

13. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to contribute to a respectful, inclusive and consent-focused environment.

Members and guests must:

Respect the boundaries of others.
Follow venue rules.
Follow instructions from Nocturnal staff.
Treat staff, contractors and attendees respectfully.
Comply with event-specific rules.
Nocturnal Creatures may suspend or terminate memberships immediately where behaviour is inconsistent with our standards.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

Illegal drug use at events
Excessive intoxication
Harassment
Sexual intimidation
Aggressive behaviour
Breaches of consent
Mistreatment of staff
Bullying or discriminatory conduct
Repeated disruption of events
Three or more independent complaints regarding conduct following review by Nocturnal Creatures
Membership decisions are made at the discretion of Nocturnal Creatures.

14. Privacy

Information supplied during membership applications, consultations and events is treated confidentially.

Personal information is only shared with authorised Nocturnal Creatures staff and trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business or where required by law.

15. Photography & Recording
Photography, video recording and audio recording may be prohibited unless expressly authorised by Nocturnal Creatures.

Unauthorised recording may result in immediate removal and permanent revocation of membership.

16. Limitation of Liability
Attendance at any Nocturnal Creatures event is voluntary.

While we take reasonable steps to promote a safe environment, attendees participate at their own risk.

To the extent permitted by law, Nocturnal Creatures is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from attendance at our events or use of our website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Website Security
Payments made through our website are processed via secure payment providers using encrypted technology.

Nocturnal Creatures does not store complete payment card details following payment processing.

18. Changes to these Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
